I’m excited to share that Sprout Social has been recognized as one of Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work in 2021 for the fourth year. Given everything that transpired in 2020, we are extremely proud to be recognized and grateful to our employees for this honor.

Glassdoor determines this list of companies based solely on the input of employees who complete an anonymous company review about their job, work environment and employer on the platform. This year, we were included on the Employees’ Choice Award list for small and medium companies (those with less than 1,000 employees). This is an honor not only because of the recognition itself, but all the hard work our entire team put in to maintain and grow the amazing culture we have at Sprout. Our CEO and co-founder, Justyn Howard, said it well:

“The past year brought significant challenges to our world, but the Sprout team proved to be nothing short of remarkable,” said Justyn Howard, Sprout Social’s CEO and co-founder. “In the face of COVID-19, racial injustice and countless other challenges, we’re incredibly proud of the way our entire team came together to support one another and solve hard problems for our customers. This award is a testament to that incredible work and the strong culture we’ve built together—we’re honored by this recognition.”

As a business leader and human resources professional, I can honestly say that 2020 was one of the most challenging years of my career. However, a silver lining was the incredible leadership and can-do spirit that our employees displayed at every turn. While many of us had never worked remotely full time (and certainly not while balancing remote schooling, childcare and the strain of a global pandemic), our team made this pivot almost seamlessly. I’ve seen more compassion, teamwork and adaptability in the last year than ever before.

In October, Sprout was named to Fortune’s 100 Best Small and Medium Workplaces in 2020, and in November, we were honored to be recognized as one of Battery Venture’s 25 Highest Rated Public Cloud Computing Companies to Work for During the Covid Crisis.

These recognitions mean even more coming out of the challenges of the last year. I’m proud of our team members and leaders who have always put the health, safety and well-being of our team first throughout this crisis. We’ve been able to provide tools for a successful transition to work-from-home, shared mental health resources and rebuilt our culture as remote-first, at least for the time being. That culture is the heartbeat of our organization and key element of what drives us forward.

“This year’s winning employers have proven, according to employees, that even during extraordinary times, they’ll rise to the challenge to support their people,” said Christian Sutherland-Wong, Glassdoor’s CEO. “A mission-driven culture, transparent leadership and career opportunities are always hallmarks of Best Places to Work winners. My congratulations go to all of this year’s outstanding Employees’ Choice Award winners.”

Thank you to all of our team members for their dedication and hard work. If you’d like to learn more about careers at Sprout, visit our careers page.
